History
In 2019 a group of Winnipeg based professionals did a needs analysis with global and local stakeholders from many industries asking what did people want, what did industry need, what did the planet need?
Community members and leaders and industry members and leaders said they want access to excellence. People want quality of life and opportunity.
‘We want access to the latest in technology and options,
great services and experts, training and tools’
…was the overwhelming response.
We then carried out a ‘problem solving’ or ‘continuous improvement’ exercise we call the Roadmap to a Blue World, which led to founding in 2019 of the Project Blue World Foundation. Learn More

Roadmap
to a Blue World
What is a ‘Blue World’? Our name is based on the “blue zone theory of longevity”, over time scientists and researchers identified that certain regions worldwide, known as “blue zones,” exhibit exceptionally high life expectancy and low rates of chronic diseases due to unique lifestyle factors, including physical activity, low stress, strong social connections, and a diet rich in local, whole foods. Sounds perfect.
What is the Plan? How do we develop a Blue World?
Together we Coordinate. Encourage. Utilize. Market. Communicate. Build.
1) Showcase excellence by region and industry, project by project, building culture of performance and improvement.
2) Achieve easy to navigate, full access people services with full ‘life cycle’ from prenatal to palliative with behavioural change to effect our climate.
3) Monitor, check and continuously improve our performance.
